Raised bed, straw bale, and container gardening take place above the surface of the soil. There are many advantages to these methods, including accessibility, aesthetic design, pest control, and being able to garden in a small space. The presentation includes an introduction to construction of these types of gardens and consideration about types of plants to grow. This program is offered by Middlesex County Master Gardener.
