The Gallery at Plainsboro Public Library

The Plainsboro Public Library seeks to provide residents with a full range of outstanding, cost efficient library materials and services which reflect and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the community. The Gallery at Plainsboro Public Library features the works of local and regional professional artists in a variety of media. Artists interested in showing their work should call the library at 609-275-2897 and ask for Donna. Work sold while on view in The Gallery is not subject to commission, although donations are welcome. 

Upcoming Exhibits:

October 5 – 30: “Ethnic Expo” a collection of Indian silks

November 2 – 29: “PAX Rwanda – Embroideries of the Women of Savane Rutongo-Kabuye” Embroideries of Rwandan wildlife and people, created by women survivors of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi.
November 3: Art Reception 2-4 pm. Visual Presentation 3 pm. This presentation is about Rwandan culture, wildlife, and history, given by show curator and educator Juliana Meehan. Great for middle school age through adult.

December (dates TBD): “A Community of Stories” Sketchbook journals made by adults and children from our community, in celebration of Plainsboro’s centennial year.
