State of Mind
Chengfen, originally from Taiwan, is a resident of Burlington County, NJ. She has had an artistic predisposition since childhood and has continually developed her skills. Her talents were formally developed at Bunka College in Tokyo, Japan. Chengfen has hosted and participated in several art exhibitions. She is under the guidance of two prominent professional artists-Heshi Yu and Chuan-Day Yu. Her first and highly successful exhibition was held at the Kinnelon Library in 2005. Since then, she been commissioned for other pieces of art and continues to build her collection of paintings. Today, her passion is to teach students how to use their imaginations along with various techniques to create unique artwork. She is well versed in several artistic mediums such as oil pastel, gauche, watercolor, pencils and mixed media.
