Makerspace Open Hours
Discover, design, and build in the library’s Makerspace. An open, welcoming environment where ideas take shape. Whether you’re experimenting with new tools or developing a project of your own, our staff is here to support your creativity every step of the way.
Join us during open hours to explore hands-on learning, problem-solving, and collaborative making. All experience levels are welcome, just bring your curiosity.
Open Build Sessions
- LEGO® Technic Enthusiasts (This is not a class) – Every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month, at 10:30 am
Come hang out with people who love building with LEGO® Technic. Whether you’re into gears, motors, robots, or just figuring things out as you go, this is a relaxed space to create together. Share what you know, pick up new tricks, bounce ideas around, and team up on projects. If you like building things that move, and having fun doing it, you’ll fit right in. - Maker Social: Open Hours – Every 2nd Wednesday at 6pm & 4th Wednesday at 3:30pm of the month
Bring your ideas and your latest projects! These open hours are a dedicated time to bring your own materials and work at your own pace. It’s a great way to meet fellow DIYers and swap tips or techniques while you craft. Whether you have questions about the Cricut, want to use the button maker for your business, or want to check out our 3D scanner, we’ve got you covered. While 3D printers aren’t running during open hours, we can walk you through prepping your files so you can submit them for printing later at the cost of the filament. - Thursday Open Makerspace – Every Thursday, weekly, at 3:30 pm
Drop in and get creative during our open Makerspace hours! Each session features a different theme and a variety of hands-on supplies for building, crafting, and experimenting. Makers of all ages are welcome to explore, design, and create at their own pace. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and imagination!
No registration required unless noted. Come build something new, your next idea starts here.
