I do not want to be recognized / want my donation to be anonymous?

If you would like to be anonymous, check the box for “Anonymous Donor” when making your donation. If you choose to be anonymous, your name will not be mentioned in our Annual Report, social media, newsletter, or in any donor recognition. You will still receive a thank you letter acknowledging the receipt for your donation.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes, the Plainsboro Free Public Library Foundation is a registered nonprofit, and your donation is tax-deductible. Furthermore, all donors will receive a letter that can be used for tax purposes.

Does “adopting” a book mean I own it?

No, adopting a book does not mean ownership. All adopted books and resources remain the property of the Plainsboro Library, available for the entire community to access and enjoy. Your adoption funds are a sponsorship supporting the library’s collection and services.
