Rain Barrel Workshop

Make your own rain barrel and take it home for your garden!

In conjunction with The Watershed Institute of Pennington, NJ, Plainsboro Public Library is pleased to present its first Rain Barrel Workshop. The workshop is completely free. All materials and construction guidance are provided by The Watershed Institute, a New Jersey non-profit (so feel free to make a donation to them).

At the end of the workshop, each registrant will have one completed, functional rain barrel to take home and decorate as they please*. (Decoration is not part of the workshop.) Registration is limited to 10 families with at least one adult over 21 in each family. One barrel per family.

* Participants need have their own transportation for their finished rain barrels (which are made of plastic and about the size of an oil drum) at the end of the workshop. We cannot store finished rain barrels or transport rain barrels for participants.
