Meet The Creators
A representative will be here to discuss the joint project between the nascent Princeton Einstein Museum of Science (PEMS) and the Witherspoon Jackson Historical and Cultural Society (WJHCS). The exhibit details Albert Einstein’s relationships with local African American residents and many of the most prominent Black leaders of the mid 20th century. Funded by the McCutchen Foundation, the exhibit consists of 11 panels of text and images.
In addition, there will be a series of works based on E=mc2, Einstein’s famous equation by artist Patrick D. Goldsmith a member of the Plainsboro Art Group. The artist attended The Art Students League & The School of Visual Arts in NYC. He started an import/export business to make a living and see the world. During his business trips in Central America, Europe and Asia, Mr. Smith produced landscape drawings. Settling back in NYC in 1987, he opened three P.D.G. galleries. Before they closed in 1995, these galleries were an important feature of the New York act scene, showing 600 artists from around the world. It was also where Maestro Kurt Masur met the Beat Icon Herbert Hunke.
