Meet the Artist: Patrick Goldsmith

“When asked to categorize my non-figurative efforts, it seems Abstract/Impressionist fits best, as I’m usually making an effort to give my impression of an abstract idea. Many of these are influenced by Taoist concepts or concerns for our shared biosphere. I also offer many of my landscapes done over 30 years of intermittent travels. From the Adirondacks to Singapore. There are also a few done along the Lenape Trail here in Plainsboro.

“More than 50 years of creative effort has flowed through me. (I truly maintain, empirically believe that the good stuff just flows through you as inspiration). I assume that is much the same with scientist’s inspirations too. In any case I’m very happy to have this chance for sharing some of my efforts to delve into our shared mysteries.”
