Horses are extraordinary creatures, admired for their beauty and majesty. They are powerful yet emotionally sensitive. Exceptionally communicative, horses flourish in social environments and thrive in groups, where they form close-knit family structures. Like humans, they can suffer from loneliness when isolated.

The bond between humans and horses is both exceptional and profound, built on mutual respect, understanding, and love. Horses are incredibly perceptive, able to sense and respond to human emotions, recognizing moods through facial expressions and distinguishing between feelings like anger and happiness. They can remember how a person has presented themselves emotionally and react accordingly.

Loving a horse goes far beyond riding; it involves building a deep emotional connection, nurturing mutual respect, and appreciating their intelligence and individuality. Whether you’re an experienced rider, a new horse owner, or simply a horse enthusiast, it’s essential to invest time in cultivating this unique bond.

My works explore the emotional bond between horses and human, highlighting their connection through various expressions and experiences.

About Hiran Sarkar

I am an artist and visual storyteller who explores the theme of human identity and the search for self-discovery. My work combines passion and representation, exploring the relationship between form, color, and emotion. I work primarily with oil and acrylic on canvas, using a process of layering and wiping to build up the surface of my paintings. My goal is to create a sense of depth and complexity and to invite the viewer to look beneath the surface of my work to discover the emotional and psychological layers that are hidden there.

I live in Lawrence Township, New Jersey, USA. My life can be traced back to a tranquil and serene village located in Bengal, India. My childhood memories of the quaint hamlet have greatly influenced my artistic creations. I developed my creativity from the stars that could be seen twinkling bright in the deep sky or from an orchestra of birds in twilight hours, rain drops that used to stoop through the foliage with percussive chatters; or a distant dove that cooed to break the silence of the sultry summer. In summary, my creative pursuits consistently evoke recollections of my childhood imagination and drive me to renew my bond with the ecosystem and the universe.
