About the Performer
Each of Ellen Tenenbaum’s performances weaves together music with interesting stories about the lives of the composers and their historical context.
Ellen lives in Princeton and studies piano performance at Juilliard in the Adult Division. Ellen performs in churches and synagogues, libraries, senior living settings, and community centers. She gives concerts for benefits and charitable events. Performances are free of charge.
Ellen’s career in music performance follows a professional career conducting program implementation studies at Westat, a program evaluation firm in Washington, DC. She wrote the book The Politics of Mistrust, with Aaron Wildavsky. She and her husband Bernard have three children and eight grandchildren.
