About the Artist: May Zheng is a professional painter in the fine arts, illustration, and portraiture. Working both in oil and digital mediums, May received her first book cover commision at age 18, has been recognized in international painting competitions, and will be featured in the Main Show of the most prestigious illustration convention (IX Arts) this upcoming October. She opened the Art Academy of Plainsboro in December 2024 and recently graduated in May 2025 from Rutgers University with degrees in cognitive science, Russian literature, and history.
