Artists explain “The Story Behind the Art”

If you’ve ever looked at a piece of art and wondered how it was made or what it was inspired by, the September gallery exhibit at Plainsboro Library will provide the opportunity to find out. At the library’s  Annual Artists’ Group Exhibit, approximately 25 participating artists will share a little background about the piece they enter. It may be about the materials used, details about the technique they employed, or what inspired them to create the image. Accompanying each piece of art will be an index card explaining “The Story Behind the Art”, this year’s exhibit theme. The show runs August 31 through October 2. A reception will be held Sunday, September 8, 2-4 pm, and is open to the public, providing a great opportunity to find out more about the group.
