December 2 – January 3

Artist Ken Wilkie will exhibit his collection of cartoons, including over 35 years of holiday cards, at the Plainsboro Library Gallery this December. The assortment of comics and caricatures includes “Map Art by the Masters”, his first nationally published cartoon from Artists’ Magazine, and many other original works both published and unpublished. The art reception will take place on Sunday, December 3rd, 2 – 4 pm, where Wilkie will speak about the history and trivia behind his subject matter (3pm).

Wilkie’s content pulls from the political spectrum as well as everyday life. His holiday cards, which date from 1981, feature political caricatures and events many viewers are likely to remember. His cartoons are filled with humor about topics we can all relate to, from work places, to schools, the economy, buzz words, and more.
